Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by AGS Engineering & Construction Limited (“AGS”). By engaging our services, clients agree to comply with the terms outlined below.
Scope of Services
AGS provides professional services in:
- Civil Engineering
- Building Construction
- Electrical Services
- Project Management
All services are delivered in compliance with Department of Works specifications, AS/NZS 9002 quality standards, and occupational health and safety regulations.
Service Agreements
- All projects require a formal written agreement, including scope, timelines, and costs.
- Quotations are valid for a specified period and subject to review.
- Full or staged payments must be made as agreed before commencement of work.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must:
- Provide accurate project information and site access.
- Ensure compliance with local permits and approvals.
- Cooperate with AGS staff and subcontractors during project execution.
Health, Safety & Environment
AGS enforces strict Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards:
- Risk assessments are conducted before work begins.
- Employees and subcontractors must comply with OH&S legislation.
- Safety practices are integrated into all project phases.
Quality Assurance
AGS operates a documented Quality Management System:
- Inspection and Test Plans are prepared for client approval.
- QA documentation is provided upon project completion.
- Continuous improvement is pursued through measurable objectives.
Insurance & Liability
AGS maintains:
- Public Liability Insurance
- Workers Compensation Insurance
Liability is limited to the scope of contracted services and excludes indirect or consequential losses.
Termination
AGS reserves the right to terminate services if:
- Payments are not made as agreed.
- Clients fail to meet obligations under these terms.
- Safety or legal compliance is compromised.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Papua New Guinea.
